Since mid-2021, hackers have stolen tokenized collections (NFTs) totaling more than $100 million.
A study by Elliptic says the NFT industry has suffered $100.6 million in damage from cybercriminal activity over the past 13 months. Despite a decline in investor interest in digital collections, hackers continue to attack projects.
In July, for example, they stole 4,647 NFT tokens. The most successful month for criminals was May 2022. Then they were able to steal digital collections worth $23.89 million.
