In July, South Korean bitcoin exchange Upbit surpassed Coinbase and OKX in terms of trading volume for the first time. On the contrary, the activity of traders on these exchanges decreased last month.
On Coinbase, the amount of transactions decreased by 11.6% to $28.6 billion. On the OKX exchange, trading fell by 5.8% to $29 billion. On the Upbit platform, on the contrary, the activity of traders sharply increased, according to the CCData report.
Last month, the trading volume on this platform soared by 42.3% to $29.8 billion. Thus, UpBit took the second place in the ranking of the largest trading platforms after Binance.
