Senate sees no need to legalize digital currencies

Among U.S. senators there are both supporters of legalizing digital currencies and opponents of implementing a regulatory framework for the industry.
While Elizabeth Warren believes that the crypto market needs strict regulation, Montana Senator John Tester calls for ignoring bitcoin and other virtual currencies.
On NBC, he said that digital currencies have no collateral. Therefore, there is no need to legalize such an instrument, which will soon disappear from the market.
