SEC head reminded of the need to protect cryptoinvestors

Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Gary Gensler reiterated his position on crypto regulation. In his opinion, the industry should be monitored to ensure transparency in the cryptosphere.
The U.S. government needs to pay special attention to protecting citizens and companies who choose to invest some of their capital in digital currencies. Transactions with such instruments can be regulated in accordance with U.S. securities laws.
However, the SEC and other regulators should not “stifle” the blockchain industry. On the contrary, we need to encourage innovation.
