Russian business began to use cryptocurrency in international transactions

The Bank of Russia and the Russian government have agreed to allow domestic companies to use cryptocurrencies in transactions with foreign counterparties.
According to Ivan Chebeskov, deputy head of the Ministry of Finance, enterprises have already used such tools. The first settlements with foreign partners were made as part of the Cabinet of Ministers’ policy of circumventing Western sanctions.
Chebeskov stressed that the mechanism of digital currencies in foreign markets will work in the normal mode in 2023.
