Despite the fall of the cryptocurrency market in 2022, about 28% of investors are still pursuing a long-term digital asset holding strategy. However, the rate of adoption of the innovative tool has declined markedly.
The Accenture report states that most consumers still prefer to pay for goods and services with credit cards or cash.
Only one in five respondents told researchers that they have cryptocurrency in their portfolio. Of those who have already purchased digital assets, 28% do not intend to sell them.
