IMF will create a global infrastructure for CBDC

The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) last summer announced the need for software that central banks could use to issue and move their digital currencies (CBDC).
The Institute believes that the introduction of Central Bank tokens will create the conditions for the qualitative modernization of the global financial infrastructure.
The head of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva agreed with the position of other financial institutions advocating the creation of a single platform for transactions with CBDC.
