Hong Kong investors will have a list of available digital currencies

In the near future, Hong Kong authorities plan to present a list of digital currencies in which local residents will be able to invest. In this way, regulators plan to protect investors.
As Reuters specifies, the list of tokens available for purchase and sale will appear during 2023. Securities and Exchange Commission (SFC) Chairman Julia Leung Fung-Yi supports the initiative of forming a list of highly liquid digital assets.
Non-professional investors will only be able to buy and sell virtual currencies that are considered safe instruments by the authorities.
