French authorities are calling for international standards to regulate the DeFi decentralized financing market.
The Financial Markets Authority (AMF) has issued a statement saying that a regulatory framework for decentralized exchanges (DEX) needs to be implemented both locally and globally.
In addition, the regulator presented a discussion document, which aims to exchange views on the control of DeFi-protocols. AMF believes that special attention should be paid to the development of international criteria for evaluating each project in order to minimize the risks of fraud and data theft.
