Ex-PayPal president doubts bitcoin will be widely used as a means of payment

Former PayPal president David Marcus believes that despite bitcoin’s growing popularity it is unlikely to be universally used as a means of payment.
PayPal developed a platform for digital currency transactions back in 2020. In addition, it announced the launch of its own stablecoin pegged to the U.S. dollar.
However, the former PayPal chief doubts that bitcoin will become a global means of payment.
