European Union calls for accelerating implementation of regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies

The leadership of the European Union for the past few years is considering options for legalizing the cryptocurrency market.
However, Brussels has not yet passed legislation to regulate the industry, which has displeased businesses and many politicians alike. The European Parliament recently approved a regulatory framework for the digital currency market (MiCA).
Mairead McGuinness of the European Financial Services Commission told the Financial Times that the legalization of the market must be accelerated.
