El Salvador, which legalized bitcoin back in 2021, announced the opening of a “BTC Embassy” in the United States.
This project is implemented as part of a large-scale program to promote digital currency globally. “Bitcoin embassy” of the Latin American state will appear in Texas. The head of El Salvador’s diplomatic mission in the U.S., Milena Mayorga, announced this to journalists earlier this week.
She held talks with Assistant Secretary of State Joe Exparza. Several options for cooperation were considered, including economic and business cooperation.
