Address activity in the Dogecoin (DOGE) network has been increasing since the beginning of this week. The average daily number of transactions on the blockchain was 17,889 on May 1, but already on May 4 it increased to 23,754, according to the Bitinfocharts service.
Network activity is now at its highest level since mid-April. Dogecoin hashrate is also growing, reaching 711.94 terahash per second the day before.
The exchange rate of DOGE on the night of Friday, May 5, fell to $0.0784. The altcoin’s capitalization shrank nearly 3 percent to $10.917 billion over the week.
