Bitcoin retreats after Fed’s interest rate hike

As expected by many experts, the U.S. Federal Reserve raised its discount rate last Wednesday by 75 basis points to 4%.
Bitcoin (BTC) jumped to $20,600 after the publication of the regulator’s decision, but it soon began to correct.
On the night of Thursday, November 3, the rate of BTC fell to $20,179. In the past 24 hours bitcoin capitalization fell by 1.5% to $387.188 billion.
