Major entrepreneurs and experts from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation came out with their program on legalizing the mining industry. It was developed by the Commission on Mining and Blockchain under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
As BitRiver CEO Igor Runets noted, not only businesses, but also Russian authorities are interested in the implementation of legislation for crypto-mining.
The State Duma has been raising the issue of legalizing mining for the past few years. Parliamentarians want to oblige citizens mining cryptocurrencies to register as individual entrepreneurs or self-employed.
