The RF Ministry of Finance believes that the Federal Tax Service will be able to control the market of digital currencies in Russia.
Last month, the deputy head of the Finance Ministry Alexei Moiseyev said that the Federal Tax Service may start receiving declarations from citizens who have cryptocurrency wallets and perform operations with digital assets.
However, the State Duma proposes to transfer regulatory functions not to the tax authorities, but to the Bank of Russia.
