Another U.S. state will introduce licensing of cryptocompanies

Starting in January 2023, Alaskan authorities will require all blockchain companies and startups to obtain a license that entitles them to serve state residents.
In addition, there will be a definition of the term “virtual currency” in the local legislation.
The state Administrative Code states that a virtual currency is a digital instrument that has value and can be used as a medium of exchange and storage of capital.
